This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Licet, how we use it, and your rights in relation to that information. We are committed to handling your information responsibly and in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Licet is an educational healthcare advertising compliance tool. References to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to the operators of this Platform. For privacy enquiries, contact us at privacy@ahpra-compliance.app.

We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking purposes. Any cookies used are strictly functional (session management only).

3. What We Do Not Collect

Important advisory: Please do not submit patient identifying information, clinical records, or sensitive personal health information through this Platform. The Platform is designed for advertising content review only.

4. Third-Party AI Processing — Important Disclosure

Content you submit for compliance analysis is transmitted to Anthropic PBC ("Anthropic") via their Claude API for AI processing. This is a core function of the Platform. By submitting content for analysis, you consent to this transmission.

Anthropic processes submitted content under their own privacy policy and API usage terms, available at anthropic.com/privacy. Anthropic's API terms state that submitted content is not used to train their models.

Content is also transmitted through a Cloudflare Worker proxy. Cloudflare processes data in accordance with their privacy policy available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

5. How We Use Your Information

We do not use your information for direct marketing without your explicit consent.

6. Data Retention

Content you submit for analysis is processed in real time and is not stored on our servers beyond what is necessary to return the result to you. Session data (your check history) is stored in your browser's local memory and is cleared when you close the tab or click "Clear".

Aggregate, non-identifying usage analytics may be retained for up to 24 months to understand platform performance.

Contact information (emails you send us) is retained for as long as necessary to resolve your enquiry and for a reasonable period thereafter.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information transmitted through the Platform, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and secure API authentication. However, no internet transmission is completely secure. You submit information at your own risk.

8. Your Rights Under the Australian Privacy Act

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
